Marmaris Turkey is an ocean city/town. Tourists come here every year to take pleasure in the beautiful sunsets, naturalistic scenery, and the beaches. There are also theme parks, museums and plenty of beaches to sunbathe and relax after touring. The one thing that sometimes we forget to read about is related to things to do in Marmaris like the top summer activities. To help you with this we have a list of three of the top ones that we are sure you will enjoy.
Since Marmaris is a beach destination with water all around, beautiful scenery, islands and just all around natural beauty; one of the first activities that travelers here should do is go on a daily cruise. While in renowned destinations most people would take a bus tour of the city, in Marmaris people love to take the daily cruises that allow you to admire the coast from afar, as well as the bay and nearby attractions. Some cruises offer lunch and organized activities on board.
Another top activity is that of adventure tours. This entails safari rides in jeeps or scuba diving. You can find information on the costs from the different companies that offer these types of tours when you stop at the various stands at the Marmaris port. A final activity that most people headed to Marmaris might already be aware of is water sports activities. Since the ocean is the top attraction, surfers, scuba divers, and water skiers know to come to Marmaris for their summer sports activities. You can find shops that sell and rent gear, as well as organize group water sports activities such as the ones mentioned above.
When you’re done with entertaining your day through the discovery of this magical city, you can head to Marmaris Marina and enjoy a drink at one of the pubs or eat something local at one of the restaurants there.
