The latest surveys have pointed out that the American traveler is now likely to be stressed-out and highly sensitive to prices, along with suffering from a problem the travel industry describes as time poverty.
While this condition may prove to be a challenge for the tourism industry of Central Florida, there is some good news to be found in the latest study by the Maitland-based travel research and marketing firm Ypartnership. Despite the perceived lack of time and price concerns, the number of people with plans to take leisure trips at some point in the near future is rising, with signs that demand is on the uptake.
A very promising 61% of those surveyed about their future travel plans said that they intended to take a vacation by October, which is a 56% increase from last years data.
