Portland is located in the West Coast of the United States and it is one of the most visited locations in this part of the country. It’s the most populous city in Oregon. Whether you are looking for its rose gardens or its vibrant night scene, you are likely to find some great Portland hotel discounts if you take your time to look.

These are a few sights you’ll want to see:

Escape to Estepona: legacy luxury on the Costa del Sol

Ah wonderful Spain. My affinity with this country runs deep, with part of my soul residing in beloved Madrilenian haunts, the wilds of the rich Andalusian hills and the chatter of evenings with olives. With the eyes of the world on Spains economic crisis, the strength (and importance)in its own identity continues to resound. Even with their financial sky rapidly descending, the majority of the passionate population remain unperturbed in their day to day existence. Siestas remain strident, cognac remains cogent and Spains virile self-confidence remains firmly on display.

I love Spains admirable arrogance, entirely justifiable in the context of wild, and natural beauty in abundance.

There are lots of great music festivals where you do not need to go native to enjoy British music at its best. With

Air France’s latest network strategy sees creation of HOP!, growth at transavia.com France, and axing of 29 routes

Most of HOP!s routes were previously operated with Air France (AF) as the marketing airline, but are now operated under HOP!s own code (A5), with Air France codesharing.

Cottage of the Week – The Barn at Scalby Lodge, Scarborough

Never ones to rest on our laurels, this week we set about finding a property that could out-do last week’s connection to a very famous Briton (Winston Churchill since you asked. Check out The Lookout here). After much frantic searching of properties with the vaguest connection to people of renown from this fair-isle, we finally remembered that a number of our featured properties are owned by perhaps the greatest, and most famous, of living Britons…

Her Majesty the Queen owns the properties at Scalby Lodge – including the large and delightful The Barn. These
