“There was a treaty on the table, which didn’t adequately protect Britain’s interests, so I didn’t go along with it.

In era of austerity, Alaska rolls out news routes

Looking for some good news amidst the gloom? Alaska Airlines is revving up a couple of new routes for launch early next year – this in an era where route cuts seem to be norm.

Here’s what’s planned. On March 12, 2012 the airline with the iconic smiling Eskimo on the tail intends to loft daily Seattle/Tacoma flights to Kansas City. Eastbound Seattle/Tacoma flights to Kansas City will push back from the gate at 8:45 a.m. and arrive MCI at 2:15 p.m. Return Kansas City flights to Seattle/Tacoma depart at 3:05 p.m. and g

Oslo, Norway – Expensive And Lots Of Swedish People!

Ill probably get a lot of people disagreeing with me on this, and maybe Im totally wrong to say it – but Oslo didnt leave much of an impression on me.

It was small, cute and nice, but I have a very strong feeling that the country side of Norway, places like Bergen and Stavanger – are completely different and amazing.

I can hardly wait to organize a trip to Bergen, Tromsö and the fjords, but Oslo?

Well, this time it was a bit of a lukewarm experience, which is ok, you dont have to love every place you visit.

There really was nothing wrong about the city, but for some reason it failed to leave much of an impression on me, although there were a few things which really did stick out:
